This wooden-hulled, gaff-rigged ketch began her maritime career in 1901 as a fishing vessel built in Denmark. Of course since then, she has been lovingly restored and modernized to include motor power and modern safety features and brough up to date with comfortable falicities. To be aboard the Sulidae is to be transported back in time, she has the look and feel of a pirate ship.
