This is a 73-foot solid, steel-hulled motor yacht (with stabilizing sail) built in Holland. She is comfortable and well laid-out, offers good cabin and public-area accommodations and has all the basic features that characterize the yachts we market.

Accommodations:
Six air-conditioned cabins with ensuite bathrooms and one air-conditioned cabin with separate bathroom. Ample dining-room/saloon, connected with outdoor dining facility with large tables, TV with video-system, sound-system, mini-library with books and videos and a small bar.

Samba: day by day itinerary

Tuesday: Departure from Quito or Guayaquil. Arrival at Baltra airport. Transfer by our guide to the yacht. Snack and orientation while traveling to nearby Plazas Sur, large sea lion colonies, land iguanas, opuntia cacti, swallow-tailed gulls, and red-billed tropic birds, etc. Duration of land visit 2-3 hours. Possibly snorkeling. 

Wednesday Am: Puerto Ayora: Charles Darwin Research Station and walk through town (souvenir shopping if desired) 3 hours. Pm: After touring the Station, journey into the highlands. A point of interest is the famed lava tunnels, a fun and geologically informative visit.

Thursday Am: Gardner Bay (Hood Island). Snorkeling at beach and panga ride 2 1/2 hours. Pm: Punta Suarez: Large colonies of blue-footed boobies, masked boobies, marine iguanas, albatrosses, swallow- tailed gulls, 3-4 hours.

Friday Am. Punta Cormorant (Floreana). Visit of a lagoon, where we find flamingoes and other birds, beautiful white sand beach where sea turtles nest, snorkeling at Devil's crown. 3 hours. Pm: Post Office Bay (Floreana). Short visit to the historic Post Office Barrel. Early departure to the island Isabela looking for whales and dolphins while we travel.

Saturday Am: Punta Moreno (isabela) 3 hours walk, lava fields, flamingo lagoons, some cormorants and penguins. Pm: Bahia Elizabeth: Panga ride, penguins, cormorants, sea turtles, quiet mangrove lagoons. 3 hours. 

Sunday Am: Urvina Bay: Relatively long walk to see land iguanas and marine iguanas, variety of native and endemic plants, remains of raised seabed exposing corral heads and other marine fossils. Nesting cormorants and sometimes a few Galapagos Tortoises in their natural habitat. 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Pm: Punta Espinoza (Fernandina Island). Large colonies of marine iguanas, flightless cormorants nesting, penguins, baby sea lions, snorkeling. 2 hours.

Monday Am: Puerto Egas (Santiago). Coastal walk exploring the great variety of tidal marine life, Galapagos furseals. Swimming and snorkeling - 3 hours. Pm. Bartholomew: Walk to get panoramic view of Bartholomew and it's famous Pinnacle Rock. Swimming and snorkeling. Possibility to see more penguins. 3 hours.

Tuesday Am. Caleta Tortuga Negra (Black Turtle Cove) - you will get to know the Galapagos green sea turtles that really are green, not black as in the name of the location. Return to Baltra in time for flight to mainland Ecuador with lunch.

Notes:
*This is our normal itinerary approved by the Galápagos National Park. The time spent at each place will depend on the variety of wildlife present, weather conditions etc. and decided by the guide and captain on board. Our tours are subject to alteration in case of changes by the authorities of the Galápagos National Park and acts of providence!

*Three meals a day are included in the tour - breakfast before the land visit, lunch after the first excursion and dinner at night. Enjoy your visit!

Samba: terms & conditions

1.- Once the reservation has been confirmed, you have one week to send us a 15% deposit to guarantee the booking.
2.- We require the full payment 45 days before the operation of the cruise.
3 .- If a space is cancelled between the day of reconfirmation and 61 days prior to the cruise date, there will be a handling fee of US$200,00 per reservation.
4.- If the cancellation has been done between 60 and 31 days prior to the operation of the cruise, the 15% deposit will be charged as cancellation fee.
5.- If the cancellation has been done within 30 days of the date of operation, we will charge the full amount of the cruise.
