Built in London, England in 1971, the Beagle is a magnificent, fully air conditioned, deluxe, 105 foot steel hulled schooner with teak deck and charming interior.

The yacht offers comfortable and spacious accommodation, maintenance and safety equipment that meet the highest standards, ample open and shaded deck space, Ecuadorian and international cuisine served in the salon or on deck, personal service on board by a well trained crew and guide. Below deck are 6 air conditioned double cabins and 1 single cabin, each with en-suite hot/cold water, shower and toilet.

Beagle: day by day itinerary

Tuesday
Fly from mainland Ecuador (Quito or Guayaquil) to arrive in Baltra airport. Transfer by our guide to the yacht. Snack and orientation while traveling to nearby North Seymour Island: approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours shore visit to observe sea lions, blue footed-boobies, magnificent frigate birds and, if time permits, snorkeling.

Wednesday
Am: Plazas Sur, large sea lion colonies, land iguanas, opuntia cacti, swallow-tailed gulls, and red-billed tropic birds, etc. Duration of land visit 2-3 hours. Possibly snorkeling
PM: Santa Fe, we make a wet landing on the Island to visit the cactus forest and a colony of land iguanas native to Santa Fe.

Thursday -Española Island
Am: Punta Suarez, : Large colonies of blue-footed boobies, masked boobies, marine iguanas, albatrosses, swallow- tailed gulls, 3-4 hours.
Pm: Gardner Bay (Hood Island). Snorkeling at beach and panga ride 2 1/2 hours.

Friday
AM: Puerto Ayora, Charles Darwin Research Station and walk through town.
PM: After touring the Station, journey into the highlands. A point of interest is the famed lava tunnels, a fun and geologically informative visit.

Saturday -Floreana Island
AM: Punta Cormorant (Floreana) Visit of a lagoon, where we find flamingoes and other birds, beautiful white sand beach where sea turtles nest, snorkeling at Devil's crown. 3 hours.
PM: Post Office Bay (Floreana). Short visit to the historic Post Office Barrel. Early departure to the island Isabela looking for whales and dolphins while we travel.

Sunday - Santiago & Bartholomew Islands
AM: Puerto Egas, coastal walk exploring the great variety of tidal marine life, Galápagos fur seals. Swimming and snorkeling
PM: Bartholomew, walk to get panoramic view of Bartholomew and it's famous Pinnacle Rock. Swimming and snorkeling. Possibility to see more penguins.

Monday -Genovesa Island
AM: El Barranco, dry landing on Barranco, then walk and observe the interesting lives of the birds here.
PM: Darwin Bay, in the afternoon we take a dingy ride and make a dry landing on Bahía Darwin to walk and observe colonies of birds.

Tuesday
AM: BlackTurtle Cove, we will take you into a tidal lagoon to see three kinds of mangrove plants, red, white and black. White-tipped sharks, spotted rays, mustard rays and Pacific marine turtles frequent the waters here.
Transfer to airport to board your flight to Quito or Guayaquil.

Beagle: terms & conditions

Individual travelers
1.- Once the reservation has been confirmed, you have one week to send us a 15% deposit to guarantee the booking.
2.- We require the full payment 45 days before the operation of the cruise.
3 .- If a space is cancelled between the day of reconfirmation and 61 days prior to the cruise date, there will be a handling fee of US$200,00 per reservation.
4.- If the cancellation has been done between 60 and 31 days prior to the operation of the cruise, the 15% deposit will be charged as cancellation fee.
5.- If the cancellation has been done within 30 days of the date of operation, we will charge the full amount of the cruise.

Charters
1.- Once the reservation of the charter has been confirmed, you will have two weeks to send us a 15% deposit to guarantee the booking. This deposit is not refundable if you cancel the full charter.
2.- After the time limit date, our reservation system will automatically cancel all bookings without confirmation or deposit.
3.- 90 Days prior to the operation of the cruise, we require a sales report. At this moment, and if the agency considers it suitable, we may change the reservation from charter to FIT´s, with the clients previously confirmed, and paying only US$ 175 for each cancelled space.
4.- We require full payment 60 days before the operation of the cruise.
5.- If the cancellation has been done within 60 days prior to the operation date, we will charge the full payment of the cruise.
